At-Turaif is the historic heart of Diriyah and one of the finest examples of Najdi mud-brick architecture. It became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010. Restored palaces, mosques and lanes now house galleries and museums about the first Saudi state.

Visit in the late afternoon, stay for the lights, then cross to Bujairi Terrace for dinner. Tickets are sold online through Diriyah's official channels.
